Workshop 1 of 4 in the Self-Management Series
All workshops are stand-alone, meaning a parent may choose to one or all workshops in a particular series; however, we encourage parents to attend all workshops in the series for maximum benefit. Workshops are applicable to parents of students of all ages and are available to any parent or caregiver in the district free of charge.

Workshop Description:
Emotion and behavior are intracately connected. Emotions impact how we act, and how we act impacts how we feel. In this workshop, parents will:
- Examine about the connection between emotions and behavior
- Learn about the escalation cycle and identify patterns of escalation for their children
- Be introduced to the concept of Zones of Regulation as a method of understanding and teaching our emotional/behavioral patterns
